What do you think of this math professor ?

A professor wants to take out fractions from the math culture. Article below:

It’s professors like this that drive me idiotic.
I also saw this on CNN, he was serious about taking out the fractions. He certainly wasn’t interested in providing new techniques to teach fractions.
